Leisure Suit Larry Explores Uranus (was one of the tentative titles for Leisure Suit Larry 8
Background[]
It was mentioned as coming soon in 1998 in an extra scene at the end of LSL7 after collecting all the game secret dildos and easter eggs. In the extra cutscene a large flying saucer comes down and abducts the PMS Bouncy and everyone on board tractoring the shop into the heart of the UFO.
This was an early concept name for Leisure Suit Larry 8 which was cancelled in 1999 (the alternate tentative title also given in the game was Leisure Suit Larry 8: Lust in Space). While a name was not finalized by Spring 1996, Al Lowe was still figuring out the art style and gameplay for the game. He even been debating making it a Full Motion Video game similar to Phantasmagoria or Gabriel Knight II, and Police Quest 5: SWAT.[1]
A post-credits pre-rendered 3D clip of Larry appears at end of Larry 7 1996. This is often thought to be a teaser for LSL8 (although this is not confirmed).[2]
