Leisure Suit Larry 8: Lust in Spaxe (tentative title, also know as "Explores Uranus" in some references) Don't try going there THIS game. , was a computer game part of the Leisure Suit Larry series, which was in full development in 1998 until funding was cut. Shortly afterwards, Sierra's adventure games department was disbanded and Al Lowe left Sierra on February 22, 1999. Like the canned Space Quest sequel, Larry 8 was to be in full 3D, but no more than a few test renders now survive. Due to Sierra's marketing rules at the time, the eighth Larry game would have dropped numerals altogether (as had Larry 7), and likely reason it was called "Leisure Suit Larry Explores Uranus" in the teaser, although its possible the teaser had little to do with the planned game but just to show off what the team could do to the management.

The full title of the game, as well as its teaser, was referenced in Leisure Suit Larry: Love for Sail! triggered with an easter egg, as well as a teaser after completing the game.

Additional reference is made if you look at certain inaccessible decks on the ship. The game says those decks are reserved for LSL8: Lust in Space.

Essentially, Larry is captured by "amazonian warrior women" from a distant planet. They brainwash the perennially behind-the-times loser into believing he's in a disco paradise. Then, they plan to use Larry to father a race of alien-human hybrids to take over the earth. "When he finally woke up, he realized: he had to figure out what was going on, find a way to stop the invasion and literally save the planet!"

"After Larry was taken away in the spaceship at the end of Leisure Suit Larry 7: Love for Sail!, he awoke to find himself in what he considered "heaven" — a world of disco balls, 70s music, and beautiful women who constantly wanted him to make love to them. What's not to like?

These amazonian warrior women were from a superior civilization light years away. Long ago, their modern technology enabled them to live forever, which meant they could no longer have children without overpopulating their planet into disaster. That made the male of their species redundant. Because the women were the warriors, they killed off all their males.

Now they wanted to expand to other planets and for that, they needed to increase their numbers. For that, they needed males. But where to find them? Why not look on the planet they chose to conquer first: Earth? Picking up transmissions from the PMS Bouncy, they learned of the “Thygh’s Man Trophy” Competition to choose the sexiest man alive. Who better to kidnap to breed with their women than the World's Sexiest Man?

Besides, after hundreds of years without sex, they were horny as hell!

But there was no way they could allow Larry to see their alien bodies and hideous faces. So, via the always handy anal probe, they discovered Larry's true feelings, what he liked and disliked. Then they brainwashed him into seeing his surroundings, and them, as that. Thus, their ship appeared to Larry to be a wonderful casino, disco, spa, etc., while the ugly alien females appeared to him as ideal women. Their spastic noises and clicks became 70s disco music inside Larry's brain.

But eventually, he would learn the truth: they were using him to father a generation of children that only looked human; a battalion of aliens human enough to blend in on Earth before taking control. When he escaped their mind control, he realized: he had to figure out the truth, find a way to stop them, and literally save the planet!

Of course, all this would be done in a satirical way, while poking fun at the thousands of other games that have used that theme

A version of the events are referenced in Wet Dreams series although the cloned Larry in the game is suffering partial amnesia about it (and much of his life between Reloaded and and Wet Dreams) much like how Leisure Suit Larry: The missing Floppies went missing leading to Larry having partial amnesia, possibly indicating that all games that are multiples of four go missing. It also seems the aliens erased his memories before he returned to earth as woke up in 21st century.
