Leisure Suit Larry: Love for Sail is a mobile phone game for J2ME phones released by Vivendi Games Mobile and programmed by The Mighty Troglodytes. Despite sharing its name with Leisure Suit Larry: Love for Sail!, it is a completely different game with an original plot. It was released on June 1, 2007. The game stars the original Larry Laffer.

Background[]

The game essentially takes place between Leisure Suit Larry 3, and Larry 5. In its own way is and has nods to the missing Larry 4. It may take place after Larry 4, as Larry loses an alpha copy of the game during the course of the game.

Larry's Home Introduction[]

Larry receives a letter explaining his last chance to improve his productivity and seminar he must take part in. Larry packs his bags, packs the alpha copies of LSL4, and throws away an old slice of pizza to prevent food poisoning.

Chapter 1: Bad Trip, Wrong Plane[]

Larry inadvertently switches baggage with Al Lowes, and catches the wrong flight. Larry is invited to see the cockpit and nearly crashes the plane. His luggage (his actual luggage) is ejected scattering the disks on the islands below. Larry is detained until he plane lands.

Chapter 2: Jet Lag Recovering[]

Larry is released, he travels to the Manyanga resort. He gets access to his room and meets Jenna for the first time. He discovers that he has Al Lowe's luggage.

Chapter 3: Fun at the Beach[]

Chapter 4: Sleeping the Day Away[]

Larry sleeps through whole day, missing everything, including the programming test. It his missing day, like the missing LSL4.

Chapter 5: The Day After Gearing Up For Adventure[]

Chapter 6: Meeting the Locals...[]

Chapter 7: The Farewell Party[]

Epilogue[]

Larry returns to work. He has been bragging about his adventure in the islands and the girl he met. His coworkers do not believe his story. Jenna shows up mentions she has been hired by Sierra, and that she has been looking for Larrry since the vacation as she has fallen in love with him. She joined Sierra because she wanted to be with him.

Notes[]

The ending depends on getting all of the game points. This requires finding all five of the missing LSL4 floppies throughout the game. Doing so results in an extra scene.

Behind the scenes[]

The game was announced in February 2007. The press release also supposedly indicated that Larry Lovage would be the main character. Like with Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude, Al Lowe was not involved with production of this game.[1]
