Codemasters Software Company Limited is a British video game developer and publisher founded by brothers David and Richard Darling in 1986.[1]
They have been the owners of the Leisure Suit Larry franchise since 2008.
In July 2008, Vivendi Universal sold the then-unfinished Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust game to Codemasters, who in 2009 published the game under their Funsta label. Codemasters retained the rights to the Leisure Suit Larry franchise. In 2011, they licensed the rights to produce remakes of the Leisure Suit Larry games to Replay Games. Codemasters has also published the first seven Leisure Suit Larry games (Leisure Suit Larry's Greatest Hits and Misses!, Leisure Suit Larry: Love for Sail!, and Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude) on GOG.com.

In recent years Assemble Entertainment has acquired the Leisure Suit Larry franchise and are the current developers and publishers of the series.
